Closures & Events
Raising Stars Preschool has several events, field trips and family activites thorught the year. We also follow stat closures, the SD 22 Calendar and are closed for 3 non-consecutive weeks of the year for holiday closures.
Parents can choose to opt out of any of the events (except closure dates). Additional information will be sent out before the event. All Raising Stars Preschool events are subject to change based on COVID-19, local regulations, staff availability, and the number of confirmed families.

October 2 - Truth & Reconciliation Day Observance - CLOSED
October 9- Thanksgiving - CLOSED
October 27 - Pumpkin Patch field trip
November 13 - Remembrance Day - CLOSED
November 15 - December 15th - Collections for Santa's Anonymous
December 15 - Holiday Concert (NO CHILDCARE)
December 22 - Last Day before Winter Break
DECEMBER 25 - JANUARY 1 - WINTER BREAK CLOSED
January 1 - New Year's Day - CLOSED
January 2 - First day back from winter break
February 1st - 2024/25 Registration starts
February 14 - Valentine's Day exchange/party
February 19 - BC Family Day - CLOSED
March 15 - Last Day before Spring Break
March 18-22 - SPRING BREAK CLOSED
March 25 - First day back from spring break
March 29 - Good Friday - CLOSED
April 1 - Easter Monday - CLOSED
May 10 - Mother's Day/ Important grown-up tea
May 20 - Victoria Day - CLOSED
May 21, 22, 23 - Graduation Pictures (EVERYONE, Grads with Sashes)
May 27 - Group Graduation Picture, GRADS ONLY (12:45 pm)
June 14 - Father's Day/ Important grown-up party
June 20 - Last Day Preschool
June 21 - Preschool Graduation, Centre CLOSED
